For the first time in DAREarts 22 year history, rural francophone kids in Quebec are participating en francais in DAREarts’ empowerment workshops! Led by our Quebec Lead Teacher & Coordinator, Deirdre Potash, this is an exciting new partnership with Atelier 19, a vibrant arts studio in Granby, All-day workshops were held weekly through March and April and the public showcase was held at Centre Cultural France-Arbour, Granby!

We want you to know that we were so happy with the kite workshop you presented at the Library this summer. This workshop was actually the first activity in our line-up to be “sold out”, so I think expectations were high.  You did not disappoint! The kites were very good quality and the children loved decorating them.  Taking the kids outside for a group photo was a terrific way to end the event. It was a lovely afternoon. A+ !
